Letter to ICA Members Nominee for ICA President
Dear ICA Member, This letter is to inform you that the ICA Nominating Committee recently nominated me for the position of ICA President, as well as Dan Murphy for Vice President and Gary Walsemann for Secretary/Treasurer. This committee consisted of 4 members elected by the Representative Assembly and a Chairman appointed by the sitting President of the ICA. It is my honor to accept this unanimous decision of the ICA Nominating committee and to ask for your support. ICA is at a crossroads and needs effective leadership and dedication to the principles of ICA. The person who takes on the role of President must be totally dedicated to lead our ICA with confidence and a plan. I have the confidence and the plan. ICA should be about defending the rights of Chiropractors to practice Chiropractic. DC’s across the country are having their licenses challenged and taken before state boards for practicing ethically, with only one desire, to provide their patients with the chiropractic care they deserve and need. I recently reviewed a case where a DC was charged with over utilization and excessive treatment for providing 14 visits over a 6 week period to an individual whose auto was rear ended at 65MPH. Make no mistake, our right to provide care to our patients is at stake. If elected your President, I will make sure that ICA leads the fight to defend your right to provide your patients with ethical Chiropractic care. There is much to do and I need your support. Join the growing team of your fellow ICA members by logging in at www.icapride.com and letting your associates know of your commitment to the future of the ICA and Chiropractic. Sincerely, John K.
